Upgrading from a Trial version of the VBUC

All the different distributions of the Visual Basic Upgrade Companion are distributed with a built-in Trial license that manages the capabilities of the tool regarding lines of code, feature availability and physical machine.

  • For the VBUC Developer Edition:Click on Help, VBUC Registration

    VBUC Upgrading From Trial Step 1

    Online Activation: select the first option and input the sales attached activation key and VBUC.lic file. Click on next and the tool will be properly registered. This option requires internet.

    Offline Activation: input the sales attached activation key and the previously requested activation file (*.bin). Click next and tool will be properly registered.

    Activation File Request: input the sales attached activation key. Email the request code to support@artinsoft.com, you’ll receive a reply including a *.bin activation file.

  • For the VBUC Enterprise Edition

    Replace the existing VBUC.lic file from the installation folder with the sales attached file.
